 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actress, comedian and activist Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents Her career began as a child performer shortly after immigrating to the United States. She is most famous for her appearances on AT&T commercials on television. In these commercials, she was Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and then 2020 (since 2020). She was also a regular series regular on Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also played a recurring role as a character in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub has also been voiced as Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after she was chosen to voice Squirrel Girl in the unaired television pilot of New Warriors. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. At the age of two She and her parents relocated to the U.S. as refugees to escape antisemitism, settling in West Hollywood. Her family's financial difficulties led to her acting in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of 5. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. However, she quit school after her sophomore years. She obtained an GED and later was able to earn a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from University of California San Diego. She was a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and studied Improv comedy.
